A Safe Space To Talk About Feelings

Every Thu 7pm

One of the most common cause of stress from suppressed emotions is the inability to express how you feel. Sometimes this is due to the lack of supportive environment, safe space or simply just personal difficulty to speak out. Talking about feelings is a healthy exercise for the heart. Come join me in this open heart session to experience the freedom to feel.

What we will do:

This class is a 60-minute session dedicated to sharing and talking about emotions in a safe and supportive environment. I will be facilitating the group to hold the scared space for each of you to express your emotions without fear of judgment. Whether it's related to work, family, or life in general, this is a chance to connect with others and feel heard.

In addition to the sharing circle, I will also be guiding everyone on one of my favourite mindfulness exercise - Heart Meditation. Experience the power of this gratitude-centered meditation to release any suppressed emotions and invite joy and positivity into our lives. You'll leave feeling lighter and more connected, with a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotions.

The Benefits:

Emotional release: Often, we hold onto our emotions and suppress them, which can lead to stress and other negative emotions. Talking about our emotions in a safe space allows us to release these emotions and feel a sense of relief.

Improved emotional intelligence: By expressing and discussing our emotions with others, we can gain a better understanding of ourselves and our emotional responses. This can lead to improved emotional intelligence, which can be beneficial in both personal and professional relationships.

Strengthened relationships: Sharing our emotions with others can create a deeper sense of connection and understanding between individuals. This can lead to stronger relationships and a more supportive community.

Reduced stress and anxiety: Holding onto emotions can lead to stress and anxiety. By expressing our emotions in a safe space, we can reduce stress and anxiety and improve our overall well-being.

Increased self-awareness: Discussing emotions with others can help us gain a better understanding of our own emotional responses and patterns. This increased self-awareness can help us make more informed decisions and lead a more fulfilling life.

What is Emotional Talk Therapy

Open Heart is a format used in emotional talk therapy that empowers talking about and processing emotions in a safe and supportive environment. It is designed to help individuals identify and explore their emotional experiences and develop coping skills to better manage their feelings.

In emotional talk therapy, clients are encouraged to express their thoughts and emotions freely, without fear of judgment or criticism. The therapist provides a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their feelings and gain insight into their emotional experiences. Through this process, clients can gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotional responses.

Emotional talk therapy can be helpful for a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, and more. It can help individuals develop better coping skills, improve communication and interpersonal relationships, and increase self-awareness and self-esteem.

Doing emotional talk therapy in a collective supportive group brings forth another form of profound impact through trust and empathy. By connecting with others through trust and empathy, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our emotions. In this sharing circle, my intention is to create an environment where individuals feel empowered to speak from the heart and unlock their inner courage. Through sharing and listening, we can cultivate the strength to manage our emotions with greater awareness and resilience.
